Fundraisers

Fundraisers are an important part of the overall success of LSCS. With a desire to keep tuition affordable, our parents have taken on the sole responsibility of our five major fundraisers. These events are spread throughout the school year, and all parents are encouraged to participate.

LSCS Annual Auction

The auction takes place every year at Victory Camp located just across the street from our school campus. For several weeks ahead of time tickets are on sale through the school office for the auction dinner. Each year this fun-filled event is more successful than the year before. Not only do we want to thank our parents for their help, but also the staff of Victory Camp and all those who generously donate and purchase the items at the auction.

Walk-a-thon

The annual LSCS Walk-a-Thon happens every year at Victory Camp. This fundraiser includes our entire upper and lower elementary.  Each child is asked to walk ten miles, having gathered pledges from friends and relatives that sponsor them for each mile walked. There are different incentives for pledges received and prizes for certain amounts of money turned in. The class that collects the largest amount of pledged money will have a special party.

On the day of the Walk-a-Thon, parents are invited to walk along with their children and share in the picnic lunch. After the walking is complete, the camp activities are open for all to enjoy.

Hallelujah night

Hallelujah Night has been an annual event for the past twenty-five years. This special night occurs on October 31st as a safe and wholesome alternative for Halloween. This event is held at Victory Camp and is a joint effort of Living Stones Church, Victory Camp and LSCS with all proceeds benefiting LSCS.

The festivities include game booths of all kinds as well as activities such as go-carts, paddleboats, zip line, petting zoo and much more. All types of fun foods like cotton candy, funnel cakes, sausage-on-a-stick, turkey legs, and pizza will be available. A five-dollar wristband is purchased at the gate for each member of the family. This band gives you access to all booths and activities. All food items are purchased with cash. This event is lots of fun for the whole family and provides us with an opportunity to invite our neighbor.
