Missions
![]() | Senior Mission TripFor over 20 years, it has been a Senior class tradition to travel to a foreign country on a mission trip. This past year the class of 2009 went to Coasta Rica to minister. The kids were involved in leading worship and special services for a local school and church. They also were instrumental in helping the church to build their congregation by passing out tracks and inviting people to the meetings. These trips have proven to be a tremendous blessing to the Seniors over the years. Mission trips provide an opportunity for the students to strengthen their Christian witness and use their God-given talents. |

Community Service
Community Service is another area of mission work that touches our community. For the past several years, many of our high school students have been placed throughout the community to serve at the Senior Citizen Centers, local nursing homes, meals on wheels program, and in other organizations that help people in need.
This community outreach program allows our students to minister in their own backyard and exposes the residents and businesses in our community to the quality of graduates that LSCS produces. In addition, our students learn what it means to be a good citizen and give back to your community.
